Instant Rendang Sauce
Rendang is the famous spicy coconut milk curry in Malaysia. We have two types of rendang which is the Malays and the Nyonyas. Rendang is being served by the Malay community during new year celebration and ceremonial celebrations like birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and other celebrations.
Mak Nyonya Rendang Sauce is rendang sauce which is prepared in Baba Nyonya style. Rendang is usually cooked with meat like beef, lamb or chicken. Rendang is cooked till the meat is tender together with the sauce and when it’s ready the meat is full with flavor and is tasty. Cooking with Mak Nyonya is easy and relaxing for you and for those who are working.
Ingredients :-
Onion, Lemongrass, Chili, Spices, Ginger, Sugar, Galangal, Salt and Edible Oil (Palm Oil).
Non Colouring.
Cholesterol Free.
Cooking Instruction :-
- 1 packet Mak Nyonya Instant Rendang Sauce, chicken or meat 1.2kg, water 300ml (1 ½ cups), coconut milk 300ml and pre-fried grated coconut 100gm.
- Fry chicken or meat and Mak Nyonya sauce over low heat until aromatic, add water and coconut milk to simmer until chicken or meat is tender and gravy becomes thicker. Lastly, add in the grated coconut. (Approximate 40 minutes).
